ERZURUM



The picturesque mountain resort situated Erzurum in eastern Turkey, at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. Primeval nature, many historical sights and hospitality of local people distinguish this ancient city, described more Alexander Pushkin in his work "Journey to Arzrum" from other parts of Eastern Anatolia. Erzurum is popular with European skiers thanks to its proximity (6 km) to the biggest ski center of the country Palandoken located on the slopes of the eponymous mountain. Ski area is located here at an altitude of 2250-3125 meters above sea level. All the tracks (7 blue, 8 red and 2 black) with a total length of 40 km are certified in accordance with international standards. The ski season lasts 150 days a year - from November to May.
